Short stories by Carolyn Carlson
Carolyn Carlson was born in California, defines herself first and foremost as a nomad. She is a tireless traveller constantly researching, developing and sharing her poetic universe. She trained with Alwin Nikolais and ever since she came up with her own style, she has kept faith with it: a form of dance devoted to philosophy and spirituality.Carlson calls her work “visual poetry”, in which movement occupies a prominent place. She has devised over 100 choreographies, many of which have left their mark on the history of dance.
